Chris finished up the last of his paperwork - lab reports for Dr. McKay - and hit send. This was...probably actually the first time he'd been completely caught up since he got here; there hadn't been much work the last few days, what with so many people being in the infirmary and everyone else being rescheduled to deal with it. Chris knew nothing about medicine and had no desire to learn, even if someone had time to recruit him to help out and train him as they went, so he'd been left just finishing up loose ends in Astrophysics...and they were all finished, now.

He closed his laptop screen and left to find Jeremy, wondering if the other man had as little to do as he did.

Chris spread out a blanket on the observation tower, leaning back on it to study the stars. It was a lovely, clear evening, like so many of them were, here - he just usually didn't have time to relax and study the sky for pleasure rather than for work.

For someone who spends so much time with my head in the stars, I seem to have an amazingly bad head for space travel. Or maybe it's the recycled air that gets to me. The more experienced travelers kept telling me horror stories of travel by wormhole, but it can't possibly be any worse...

Anyway, I've got my feet back on solid ground now (or on, well, floating city ground), and I've gotten settled into the labs and my quarters. What's next?
